1. Description of service

OffGrid AI is an SMS-based information and artificial intelligence service that allows registered users to send questions by text message and receive automated responses.

2. SMS consent

Users consent to receive OffGrid AI SMS messages by completing the service's opt-in flow or using another approved consent mechanism. Message frequency varies based on user activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for assistance.

3. Artificial intelligence limitations

AI-generated responses may contain errors, omissions, outdated information, or incorrect conclusions. OffGrid AI does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of any response. Users are responsible for independently evaluating information before relying on it.

4. Not an emergency service

OffGrid AI is not an emergency communications or emergency response service. Do not rely on OffGrid AI to contact emergency personnel, dispatch rescuers, or provide guaranteed emergency information. In an emergency, contact 911 or the appropriate emergency authority directly whenever available.

5. Professional information

OffGrid AI provides general informational responses and is not a substitute for qualified medical, legal, financial, navigation, weather, safety, or other professional advice.

6. Connectivity and delivery

OffGrid AI does not guarantee message delivery, response time, satellite availability, cellular coverage, or uninterrupted service. Messages may be delayed, duplicated, blocked, interrupted, or lost because of carrier networks, satellite systems, device compatibility, SMS filtering, outages, environmental conditions, or other factors outside OffGrid AI's control.

7. Acceptable use

Users may not use OffGrid AI for spam, unlawful activity, harassment, fraud, attempts to bypass service limits or security controls, unauthorized system access, or activity that violates applicable law, carrier requirements, or messaging policies.

8. Beta service and usage limits

The initial OffGrid AI service may be offered as a limited beta. Usage limits, features, availability, and pricing may change as the service develops.

9. Service changes

OffGrid AI may modify, limit, suspend, or discontinue features or access when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, compliance, product development, or operational reasons.

10. Third-party services

OffGrid AI relies on third-party telecommunications, hosting, artificial intelligence, and other infrastructure providers. OffGrid AI is not responsible for outages, delays, service changes, or failures caused by those providers.

11. Disclaimer

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. OffGrid AI makes no warranty that the service will always be accurate, available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OffGrid AI and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the service, including delayed or failed message delivery or reliance on AI-generated information.

13. Privacy

Use of OffGrid AI is also governed by the OffGrid AI Privacy Policy.
